 If you need legal firm services then it is very important to know about their background, feedback from their previous clients, their rate of winning cases, how professional their behavior is by asking about them from other people, are they up to the legal standards, and ability? Etc. All these questions should be answered before approaching any law firm. There are many law firms in Dubai and most of those firms do immensely good work for their clients. Law firms are how much good depends on their ability and general standards. There is an organization called rating boards all across the country which evaluates and conducts the survey to judge the firms at which position all these firms lie. These positions are based on the confidential opinions of bar members and the judiciary. All these ratings are based on five years of interval, usually, after the lawyer has been admitted to the bar. 

There are two components of the rating system and that is: 

  • The legal ability of the firm: this component is based on three ways

  • Good to high

  • High to very high

  • Very high to preeminent

  • The general standards of ethics: in it, they judge on reliability, conduct and ethics, diligence, and how to handle other legal responsibilities. 

 There is a further classification of rating and that is:

  • CV rating: if the firm is above average it will be given a CV rating 

  • BV rating: if the law firm has an exemplary reputation and has a well-established practice. It defines the law firm as in its mid-career having significant clients and are highly professionals in their standard. 

  • AV rating: if the law firm reached a higher level having a height of professional excellence. It indicates that the law firm has long years of professional experience. 

These rating systems are very important because through this they work at their best. This rating system will maintain good standards among the firms. The rating will also show the level of the high level of competence and experience of the law firm as seen on the classification grade.
